Benefiting the Centennial Children’s Legacy Fund The Grand Centennial Ball will be an enchanting evening with cocktails, special guests, three course dinner with wine pairing, dessert and birthday surprises! This once-in-a-lifetime, black tie ball is the signature event of the commemoration: taking a step back in time for the future of New Mexico and will benefit the Centennial Children's Legacy Fund. Hosted by Actor-Comedian Steven Michael Quezada. Music by New Mexico's own Hillary Smith and Soul Kitchen. Steven Michael Quezada Comedian, actor, producer, writer, teacher and humanitarian, Steven Michael Quezada currently portrays DEA Agent Steven Gomez on the Emmy Award-winning television series Breaking Bad, which just completed its fourth season on AMC. A life-long resident of New Mexico, he has also appeared in numerous locally-made films and television series such as Wildfire, Crash, In Plain Sight, Love Ranch and First Snow. In 2010, Steven began hosting the late-night talk show, The After After Party with Steven Michael Quezada, now in its second season on The CW Network. In addition to his career as an actor, Steven is one of the most noted comedians in the southwest, touring comedy clubs across the U.S. since 1987. He is a five-time recipient of the NM Hispanic Entertainers Association Comedian of the Year Award, and has appeared on HBO, Showtime, and the Latino comedy feature Que Locos. He is Vice President of the Governing Council for the Public Academy for the Performing Arts charter school, and often teaches classes in acting and producing to young actors and filmmakers via his extensive charitable work serving youth in New Mexico.
