There will be more Artists at this workshop than there are plugs for everyone’s computers, so please bring a notebook and pen. Bring your lunch as we will only break 30 minutes for the meal. Art critiques and promotion-writing workshops will be held in October to interested Artists who attend this workshop.

“I believe that the best way American Artists develop a large following is by having their art published and distributed internationally,” Sara Eyestone said in a recent interview. “It takes more than talent. Global exposure is what generates opportunities for Artists who support themselves with their work.”

Sara Eyestone’s marketing workshops enable Artists to be more professional. She shares ideas that improve organizational skills, techniques for pricing work, biography and promotional concepts that create impressive and effective press packets, and calendar systems that help make more studio time with efficient tools for cataloging art, photographs, long term records, tax deductions, and essential long range plans. Ms. Eyestone presents ways to attract more press and personal appearances, including television and magazine articles. She suggests ways Artists can find and approach top galleries, publishers, licensing companies, and museums, and she creates gallery contracts and publishing agreements with the workshop participants. Her ideas for working strategies and sales in poor economic times give Artists higher profiles with more active roles as professionals in the American art scene. At this workshop each Artist is encouraged to develop a fresh approach to create a new collection of work, plan a one-person show, and learn how to license signature lines of their work as art posters, books, and prints.

A PROFILE OF SARA EYESTONE: A successful Artist with 49 years of experience practicing what she preaches, Sara Eyestone’s oil paintings have been featured in over fifty prestigious one-woman museum and gallery exhibitions, numerous national main-stream magazine articles, and signature lines of products in the publishing and licensing industries that have brought her opportunities and royalty payments since the early 1970’s. For example, her note cards for Caspari have been featured in over 500 museum shops worldwide. Ms. Eyestone created the official Statue of Liberty Commemorative plate as a fundraiser for the restoration and preservation of Miss Liberty in 1986. Her fundraising poster for the Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation is one of their most successful projects. After decades with her galleries, the Artist has painted for the past 25 years exclusively on commission for private collectors. She has been a guest on countless television programs, a featured Artist at special charity events, and done appearances on behalf of her publishers at The National Stationery Show, Art Expo, and The International Licensing Show. She consults with Artists privately about their careers, and she is now an Art Curator, representing the incredible work of 46 American Artists at the Art Hotel of New Mexico, La Posada de Santa Fe, and she teaches painting and memoire writing at The Georgia O’Keeffe Museum. Eyestone has presented her art marketing workshops for over thirty years and is now completing a work-book that coincides with her creative ideas. La Posada welcomes the workshop Artists from out of town to stay at the hotel at a special Artist rate. Contact Sara Eyestone for details.
