Event Details: Apple Hill String Quartet in “Outliers”

The Apple Hill String Quartet has earned accolades from around the world for their interpretive mastery as well as for their innovative Playing for Peace program. In Santa Fe they will present a wonderfully diversified program including Domenico Cimarosa’s Concerto for oboe & strings with Serenata Artistic Director Pamela Epple; Gyorgy Ligeti’s first string quartet, “Metamorphoses nocturnes”, inspired by Bartok’s quartets; soulful melodic music of Edvard Grieg; and with Serenata pianist Debra Ayers, the great Piano Quintet of Johannes Brahms.
